Energy Summit for Faculty Coming to Southern California

Community college instructors in Southern California are invited to attend the Southern California Faculty Energy Summit on May 11 and 12 in Temecula.

CETI Deputy Sector Navigators Jonathan Kropp (San Diego/Imperial Region) and Larry McLaughlin (Inland Empire/Desert Region) partnered with Jon Caffery, Prop 39 Clean Energy Workforce Program Lead to organize this instructive two-day event.
Energy storage benefits, technologies and value will be discussed, including sessions on case applications, value assessment and instructional design. The Building & Energy Systems Professional Program (BESP) will also be featured along with Energy Auditing and Analytics.
On the second day of the summit, Ron Ishii, Principal of Alternative Energy Systems Consulting, Inc. will lead a session all about microgrids and integration of energy loads.
