Logistics is the Pipeline that Plans and Coordinates the Delivery of Products and Services to Consumers All Over the World.

- Transportation management
- Warehouse operations management
- Purchasing and materials management
Community college programs prepare students for entry into or career growth within the logistics industry. Principles of logistics include an introduction to the management of business logistics functions with a focus on integration of functions (transportation, warehousing, purchasing, etc.) to improve overall supply chain performance.
Courses also include a study of the freight transportation system, including pricing, regulation, and traffic management and its role within integrated business supply chains.
Employment in this industry is projected to grow 7 percent from 2016 to 2026 and will be driven by the need for logistics in the transportation of goods in a global economy.
